For my capstone project, I served as the Digital Media Director for Marist College’s 34th Annual Silver Needle Runway. My role as the Digital Media Director was to lead our class and Creative Team in the pre and post-production of all promotional videos, photography, and digital content. Working alongside the Creative Director, we planned the theme and aesthetic for the day of show. Also, I had planned a unique large-scale, holographic projection instillation.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the physical show was canceled. This year’s Silver Needle Runway was held entirely online, for the first-ever virtual fashion show. I led my team to create an alternative virtual fashion show format. Moving to an online format proved to be a rewarding challenge. I was responsible for teaching and leading our team members new digital and creative skills. The show included a documentary about the process and the virtual presentation highlighting 21 design students’ senior collections. Various press outlets have covered this show, including: the FF Channel, Fashionista.com, WAG Magazine, and Alice Magazine.
